Ballarat Dance Works caters for a range of students from those seeking an informal, recreational environment, through to those who are hoping to pursue a professional career. With private premises containing two spacious studios, we have the perfect environment for students to work on developing their technique and exploring a range of dance styles. Many of our students also develop strong friendships with fellow students along the way.

non-competitive environment
Our focus remains on providing a non-competitive atmosphere. We do not strive towards dancing in competitions but rather on assisting students to understand the joy of performing. All students participate in a mid-year soirée at Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts and an end of year production at Her Majesty’s Theatre or Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts. We are very proud to be the only dance school in Ballarat that offers students the opportunity to participate in a full-length choreographed production, complete with elaborate costumes, scenery and sets. Our tuition prices are competitive and we offer both family and multiple class discounts.
